45,000 people attended the two day EDM music festival over the weekend on September 10th & 11th , which was held at Bayfront Avenue in the shade of Marina Bay Sands.
With thousands of festival attendees all trying to use the cell network at the same time, Ultra Music Festival brought in SugarWiFi as the official WiFi sponsor for the event.
Ultra management tasked SugarWiFi with improving the attendees experience by offsetting the load of thousands smart devices on the 3g/4g network to strategically positioned WiFi Sweet Spots around Ultra Park Singapore.
The Ultra Singapore WiFi network called SugarWiFi @ Ultra and consisted of 3 strategically placed Popup WiFi towers using Cisco Meraki hardware with SugarWiFi analytics software to deliver a reliable and robust WiFi experience and seamless Facebook login.
The thousands of users that connected were able to communicate quickly and easily with their friends via whatsapp without the need for 4g data.
SugarWiFi improved the social sharing experience for attendees. Allowing them to share videos and photos of their Ultra Singapore experience on social channels such as Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram.
